Susie settled in Whistler in 1990 after traveling the world and meeting her husband Roland at a ski resort called Arosa in Switzerland in 1981. She worked in the only art gallery in Whistler at the time for 3 years where she gained invaluable experience in the "art of sales" and extensive knowledge about Whistler. Realizing her passion for sales, she started her career as a real estate agent.
Susie enjoys the challenges of being a professional realtor. "I take my real estate duties seriously – it’s a big responsibility and my goal is always the same – a happy, satisfied client." Her dedication speaks for itself; she has consistently been a Whistler Real Estate top producer! She is genuinely committed to building relationships and taking care of her clients. "My service doesn’t end on completion day. I will help with anything necessary after the sale – connecting cable, finding a suitable house cleaner, taking a furniture delivery, measuring a room – the list is endless."
Along with her residential real estate expertise, Susie has had the opportunity to work on new projects in Whistler with other successful realtors. She has been on the team for 11 resort property launches including the new Fitzsimmons Walk, Four Seasons Resort Hotel, Four Seasons Private Residences, First Tracks Lodge at Creekside and various townhome projects in Taluswood.
Living in Whistler is not all work for Susie. She enjoys good wine and food and entertains guests often with her chef husband Roland. Their dog Sophie, goes for long walks every day on some of most beautiful walking trails in the world. "Living here is a lifestyle choice; I like to downhill ski, skate ski, cross country ski with Sophie, golf and mountain bike in my spare time." They still love to travel and get away a couple of times a year to soak up other cultures. Susie also speaks French, conversational Spanish and Portuguese.
